Under the direction of the Technical Support Leader, the Electrical Maintenance Engineer delivers increased reliability and improved maintenance productivity of equipment for petrochemical processing assets across the Houston Hub (Deer Park, La Porte, Bayport, Texas City). This individual will be responsible for ensuring effective execution of maintenance work processes. The Electrical Maintenance Engineer, works to implement the strategic direction of maintaining facilities in line with the functional and business directives. The Electrical Engineer must be able to facilitate root cause investigations and develop and implement effective solutions from the investigations in order to achieve long term maintainability and reliability. The Electrical Maintenance Engineer must be an effective communicator and able to leverage solutions to other plants within the site and business. Responsibilities: Understands the plant and maintenance technologies while providing high level of troubleshooting and repair expertise. Interacts closely with Electrical and Instrument Technicians as well as Plant Operations personnel to troubleshoot and resolve Plant related issues to ensure smooth and reliable plant operation. Participates in the development and execution of the business/facility and equipment maintenance strategies. Participates in developing the maintenance budget to support the maintenance strategy. Acts as a leader within the TES team in continuous improvement in safety, environmental, and maintenance excellence while working within the facility's defined expense budget. Implements Risk Based Inspection/maintenance methodology recommendations in assigned area. Participates in developing the maintenance budget to support the maintenance strategy. Evaluates effectiveness of the Predictive & Preventive Maintenance program and leads team(s) in resolving deficiencies. Utilizes 6 Sigma methodologies and tools to improve plant maintenance effectiveness. Promotes and leads the maintenance and improvement of fprocesses and operating discipline. Resolves engineering problems through application of Root Cause Investigation Methodology, data analysis, and electrical engineering expertise. Facilitates and participates in Root Cause Investigations related to equipment failure. Serves as a subject matter expert in equipment failures and repair techniques. Provides troubleshooting expertise on equipment failures and repair techniques using a thorough understanding of plant technologies, maintenance repair techniques and plant condition. Initiate and review MOC. Utilizes and involves Dow expertise centers and Maintenance Technology Center resources to resolve issues as needed. Act as a maintenance representative on project teams. Provide technical expertise and mentorship to less experienced engineers and electrical technicians. Dependent on experience and expertise, acts as a Global Technical Resource Network participant in a specialized electrical engineering discipline Responsible for Houston Hub ESRA audits and follow-through on actions Responsible for maintaining Site Hurricane Electrical Equipment Lists Required Qualifications: A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering is required. A minimum of 8 years of industry experience is required. Must have superior communication skills and a strong command of the English language. Ability to effectively manage multiple competing priorities simultaneously. Takes independent action; attempts to influence events to achieve results; seizes opportunities in a responsive manner; has a bias for action and taking appropriate risks. A minimum requirement for this U.S. based position is the ability to work legally in the United States. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in a manufacturing environment as a Maintenance or Reliability Engineer in the petrochemical or related Industry Knowledge and experience in the field of power systems, and electric machinery Holding an Electrical Journeyman Certification is an asset Instrumentation experience is a definite asset Green Belt or Black Belt Six Sigma Certification is an asset 1811114

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
