Workplace Services Manager

JOB DESCRIPTION Robert Half is seeking a Workplace Services Manager - North American Field Offices who will be responsible for providing facilities services and support for field offices located in North America. The WPS Manager will partner with our Field Office employees and vendor affiliates to create a positive Robert Half employee experience.  He/She will passionately pursue opportunities to improve services and recommend areas to innovate while being fiscally conscientious.  The WPS Manager will tenaciously promote our team and our service offerings by embarking on a strategic campaign at selected sites.  He/She will take ownership and be the "face" of our WPS Hospitality initiative.  Status and information shall be communicated to leadership through Reporting, Dashboards and KPI/Metrics.  This role will also be responsible for overseeing the WPS helpdesk function.  The WPS Manager will manage a staff of three headcount.  Specific responsibilities include: Administer WPS projects and initiatives as required at selected Field offices. Create and administer an Office Services budget and all necessary data/metrics. Update and manage local office amenities and services lists. Perform regular Site Condition surveys and assessments. Support capital project buildouts by providing recommendation for various equipment, appliances, and fixtures as well as timely activation of all necessary office services and amenities (such as coffee, shredding, printers, first aid, plants, postage equip, etc.).  Responsible for the negotiation of contracts related to building services including janitorial, food vendors, office and kitchen supplies, and all mailroom and other office equipment through partnerships with Procurement. Evaluate existing office equipment, and track performance and usages of equipment and related maintenance agreements. Review proposals for equipment and make formal recommendations related to purchases. Partner as necessary with the Corporate Security-Safety Manager in deployment of security, safety and sustainability campaigns and initiatives.  Support the deployment of LED lighting conversions, sounds masking systems, environmental condition sensors, virtual 3D suite scanning, security systems (such as perimeter security, card access system, CCTV, silent alarms) and other improvements  where applicable. Support the deployment of disaster recovery and safety training plans. Provide leadership and direction to 2 staff members who will be first-responders and POCs regarding office requests/helpdesk tickets. Ensure any project deadlines and budget reporting requirements are satisfied. Serve as a liaison between all applicable RH regional sites as it relates to office service needs. Respond to and manage all electric, HVAC maintenance, plumbing and lighting issues and inquiries in North American sites. In coordination with the Project Delivery team, ensure that the Field offices are within fire, building and safety code (OSHA) and act as  24/7 urgent contact. Monitor and report on all remote site condition sensors as required (ie, sound masking, flood, temp, power, IAQ sensors) Ensure overall suitability and cleanliness of the Field offices. Qualifications: College degree (BS or BA) or equivalent. Facility Management Certification desirable. 3 - 5 years' facility management experience 2+ years' staff supervision experience. First aid/safety/disaster recovery training desirable. Office equipment vendor management. Microsoft Office. Electrical system knowledge. Blue print and space planning knowledge. Fire suppression system knowledge. Building and Fire Code knowledge. Appx 35% Travel JR-216254

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
