Web Programmer

Description This position is responsible for advanced computer support of the credit union infrastructure. Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities Consistently meet all Shell FCU Service Commitments; Shell FCU Employee Creed and Shell FCU Service Distinctions. Accountable to maintain knowledge of and comply with all applicable rules and regulations required within the scope of duties, including, but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act. Required to attend annual training sessions as instructed or scheduled. Perform job duties and responsibilities in compliance to SFCU policies, procedures, philosophy and standards of performance. Utilize established programming tools and guidelines including but not limited to Visual Studio, ASP.NET, SQL Server, HTML, CSS, SRSS, JavaScript, IIS, Wikis, and C#/VB.NET to design, code, test and implement new and maintain current websites. Investigate and optimize existing systems by identifying and correcting web technologies usage. Create technical flowcharts and documentation to use during planning, developing, testing and implementation phases of website creation. Review changes and enhancements in upcoming software updates for possible risks or in-house development. Work with management and staff for project and tasks outlines, outcomes and expectations. Work with CRM, MySQL, Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle and other data gathering applications to establish reporting, trending and integration to websites and possible end user Dashboard creation. Maintain, manage and update company intranet as well as software and coding. Maintain, manage and update company corporate websites as well as software, coding and SSL certificate purchase, installation and maintenance. Work with vendors to establish external or in-house hosting solutions and best practices for each website in order to lower costs and optimize efficiencies. Create and implement any programming or web application that will assist end users. Performs additional duties as assigned. Knowledge and Skills Experience: Three years to five years of similar or related experience. Education / Training: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or +3 years in related work experience Job Requirements: Knowledge of credit union products and services Welcoming and helpful demeanor Object-oriented design and programming experience using systems, databases, and programming languages that develop software applications using the .Net framework Knowledge of full lifecycle application development. Proficient in Visual Studio 2010 or above Proficient in IIS, Apache, DreamWeaver, Java, HTML, CSS, ASP.NET, XML, C++, Python, PHP, PERL Possess the desire to accept additional responsibilities within branch operations Working knowledge of AWS Web hosting services. Working knowledge of public and private encryption certificates Possess well-developed communication skills using tact and persuasiveness to reach an objective and maintain goodwill Possess a highly positive, member-service oriented attitude and the ability to anticipate member needs and initiate assistance beyond duties assigned Advanced computer skills

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
