The Brock Group is looking for an HR Analyst to support the HR Director in Beaumont, TX or Deer Park, TX. This position conducts complex data analysis to address organizations business needs and requirements. Successful HR Analysts are good with details and have strong interpersonal skills. They are good communicators, keeping employees and managers informed on the status of queries, issues, and concerns. They continually look for ways to improve HR policies and standards, and focus on great customer service. The HR Analyst will report to the Director of Employee Services, and be a key department liaison to the IT Department. They will be physically located in Beaumont, however Deer Park could be an alternative, depending on the candidate.

Primary Duties:
Collect and analyze data from disparate database systems and consolidate into a single database maintained in MS Access or SQL Server.
Track trends and developments in management of companys human assets.
Develop standard and ad hoc reports, templates, dashboards, scorecards, and other metrics.
Meet with management to discuss and clarify requests for reports.
Troubleshoot data and reports.
Assist in rollout and implementation of HR programs.
Analyze and identify business needs and objectives, current operational procedures, problems, input and output requirements, data scope, usage, formatting, and security requirements for internal systems.
Studies existing information processing systems to evaluate effectiveness and provides recommendations to improve production or workflow which may include identifying, evaluating, and developing systems and procedures.
Provides system support for HR business area, including updates or migrations impacting HR.
Assist in support of intranet Web pages.
Provides support on special projects, as needed
Minimum Required Qualifications:
Associates Degree in BA, HR Management, and Information Services.
Intermediate to Advanced level of skill in relational database concepts and the SQL language.
Intermediate to Advanced level of skill with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Access.
Intermediate skills in all Microsoft software.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with other operating groups.
Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and effectively meet deadlines.
Analytical thinking used to understand problems from multiple perspectives and create solutions.
Some travel required (Houston, Deer Park, Beaumont primarily.)
Preferred Qualifications:
2+ years' work experience in field of study or similar work.
Experience with HRIS modules, both implementation and routine operation.
Experience in a call center work environment, telephone and/or web-based.
Experience with ServiceNow and SharePoint software.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
