The Outside Sales Representative assists in developing positive relationships between United Safety and Clients to capture market share in the safety services and equipment industry. This is achieved through and by United Safety's policy standards, procedures and management direction. This is conducted in a variety of environments in the upstream, midstream, energy and downstream industry including plant turnarounds and construction projects.
Qualifications:
Establish and further develop positive relationships with all United Shutdown Safety customers in the target market(s).
Meet or exceed sales targets for both rental equipment and all safety services.
Maintain an organized and effective sales plan for achieving mutually agreed targets and goals.
Work with Sales management to establish goals and track the number of personal customer sales contacts per week.
On call via: cell phone 24/7.
This position requires 80% travel.
Maintain and manage travel and entertainment cost.
Achieve or exceed the financial goals and margins, by capturing new and competitor market share.
Communicate and interface with other business lines within United Safety.
Produce monthly reports, call reports, and provide timely feedback to the Sales Director.
Enter and maintain contacts and follow up information into CRM weekly.
Must be self-motivated, energetic, organized and physically capable to perform required job duties.
Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Must Have:
Must have previous sales experience, in an industrial sales environment.
Ability to review and assess customer requirements and provide direction for preparing responsive proposals for customer needs.
Ability to assess and interpret market trends, as needed.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills as required in developing and maintaining working relationships, giving presentations to customers, and in facilitating the successful closing of sales transactions.
Proficiency with the use of personal computers, including word processing, spreadsheets, and database applications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
