In accordance with state and federal regulations, the following will be expected and required by the medical technician:
Urine, hair, breath, and saliva specimen collections Checking patients vitals Audiometric testing Pulmonary function testing Respiratory fit testing Supplied air training Charting, including assurance appropriate forms are filled out completely and accurately for testing purposes Calibration and equipment maintenance Maintaining HIPPA as well as company confidential information Requirements:
- Previous experience working in a laboratory or healthcare setting is preferred - Strong knowledge of laboratory procedures and techniques preferred - Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records - Familiarity with medical terminology and understanding of laboratory test results - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality - Strong data analysis skills to interpret test results accurately
