As a Permanent Billing Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in the Sales industry.
You will be part of a dynamic team that is passionate about driving success and delivering top-notch service to our clients.
We are seeking an individual who is not only experienced in Chemical Engineering, Project Management, and the oil and gas sector but also has a working knowledge of NetSuite, quotations, and proposals.
This position offers an excellent opportunity for professional growth, with exposure to a wide range of industry-leading clients and projects.
Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage the entire billing process, ensuring accurate and timely invoicing of customers.
Collaborate with the sales and project management teams to ensure accurate billing information.
Review and analyze complex billing data, identify discrepancies, and take appropriate action to resolve them.
Prepare quotations and proposals in line with customer requirements and company policies.
Utilize NetSuite to maintain and update customer billing information.
Monitor the accounts receivable ledger, ensuring all outstanding invoices are collected promptly.
Participate in the development and implementation of billing systems and procedures to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Liaise with clients to resolve any billing queries or issues, providing excellent customer service at all times.
Coordinate with the chemical engineering team to understand the technical aspects that may impact billing.
Work on projects within the oil and gas sector, providing valuable input from a billing perspective.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Business, Finance, or related field.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the Sales industry.
Proven experience in the oil and gas sector is a plus.
Proficiency in using NetSuite or similar ERP software.
Strong understanding of billing procedures and best practices.
Exceptional numerical skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients and team members.
Strong project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
Experience in preparing quotations and proposals.
Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve billing discrepancies.
High level of professionalism and integrity.
