We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Field Service Technician to join our high-performing team.
This is a permanent position that offers a significant opportunity to work in a fast-paced, customer-centric environment within the sales industry.
The Field Service Technician will be responsible for providing top-notch technical support to our customers, maintaining our company's reputation for excellence, and contributing to our mission of delivering superior solutions.
The successful candidate will have a solid background in industrial operations, distribution, and field service support, and will be proficient in Excel and adept at using gauges and sensors for accurate measurements.
Responsibilities:
1.
Provide onsite installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair services for our industrial equipment and systems.
2.
Conduct regular equipment inspections to identify and rectify any potential issues before they escalate.
3.
Maintain detailed service reports and records of all maintenance and repair work performed.
4.
Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer requirements and provide technical support for product demonstrations.
5.
Train customers on the proper use and maintenance of our equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
6.
Continually enhance technical knowledge and skills by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, and participating in professional societies.
7.
Ensure compliance with all safety and quality standards in all field service operations.
8.
Utilize Excel for data analysis, tracking service metrics, and generating reports.
Qualifications:
1.
A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Field Service Technician in the industrial or sales sector.
2.
Proven experience with distribution processes and systems.
3.
Proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
4.
Extensive knowledge of gauges and sensors and their application in industrial settings.
5.
Exceptional troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
6.
Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts in an understandable manner.
7.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
8.
Willingness to travel to customer sites as needed.
9.
A valid driver's license and clean driving record.
10.
A degree or diploma in a technical field is preferred.
