SUPERVISION EXERCISED None Examples of Duties / Knowledge & Skills ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Shelve incoming Library materials (books, periodicals, audio books, DVDs); read shelves; straighten books on shelves; assist at Front Desk as needed; clear tables at closing time, turn off computers, perform closing routine.
PERIPHERAL DUTIES Check in items, assist patrons with library card applications, assist with programs and appear in costume as library mascot for short periods of time as needed.
Minimum qualifications & Requirements MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Education and
Experience:
High school education.
High school student acceptable.
Library experience preferred.
Necessary Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Proficient computer skills using Windows and Microsoft Office; must demonstrate excellent customer/public service skills and ability to work with people of diverse ages and backgrounds; ability to deal with public in a pleasant manner, take messages accurately, take fine money, and make change.
Supplemental information SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS This position requires evening and weekend shifts.
Part-Time & Temporary Employees are eligible to become members of the Deer Park Credit Union and are covered by Unemployment Insurance and Workers Compensation Insurance.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
