Summary:
We are looking for an organized, detailed oriented, and multi-tasking individual to join our team.
As a Construction Coordinator your responsibility is to control the logistics and deliverables of manpower demands upon receipt of a PO from our customers.
You will conduct onboarding, schedule crews, and perform closeout procedures on multiple projects.
The project coordinator will perform these actions while simultaneously keeping the candidate and Construction Managers informed of the project timeline.
Duties/
Responsibilities:
Coordinates the applicant process, including onboarding and site dispatch Maintains data in project management tracking system.
Enters requisition information and applicant data.
General administrative duties include telephone coverage, mail preparation, internet usage, human resource information system reports, memos, researching and obtaining documentation Conducts candidate and employee drug screenings/background checks through DISA per job site requirements.
Follows up with candidates and hiring managers after the interview process to determine whether a placement can be made.
Maintains and ensures compliance with applicable equal employment opportunity (EEO) and related employment laws and regulations Performs other related duties as assigned Required Skills/Abilities:
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Great work ethic, high integrity, and honesty.
Experience in project management software.
Intermediate computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
Ability to successfully represent the company in a professional and positive way.
High degree of accuracy and efficiently in output.
Ability and desire to wear many hats and switch priorities easily.
Detail-oriented and results-focused with exceptional organizational ability.
Project management skills.
Rapid problem-solving abilities and confident in decision making/critical thinking.
Flexibility and strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with all levels of the organization, customers, and trade partners.
Self-motivation with a strong sense of urgency and whatever it takes mentality.
Desire to continuously improve and produce results.
Strong time management skills with ability to independently manage projects with minimal supervision.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software Bilingual (Spanish/English) highly desired Experience in high-volume craft construction Education and
Experience:
High School or above At least 2 years of experience in Dispatching, Customer Service, Administrative, or similar Support role, preferred Knowledge of refinery and construction skills highly preferred.
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds at times (recruiting materials) Job Type:
